South Carolina


South Carolina known for its shoreline of subtropical beaches and marshlike sea islands, is a southeastern state in U.S.Its oldest city is Coastal Charleston which is defined by Old South plantations, pastel-colored houses,  and Fort Sumter, where the Civil War’s opening shots were fired. The Grand Strand which is to the north is  a roughly 60-mile stretch of beachfront known for the vacation town Myrtle Beach and the golf courses.

Virginia, with a long Atlantic Ocean coastline, stretches from the Chesapeake Bay to the Appalachian Mountains, is a southeastern state. With many historic landmarks including Founding Father Thomas Jefferson’s iconic Charlottesville plantation, Monticello, it is to be known as the oldest of the 13 original colonies. Its living-history museums reenacting Colonial and Revolutionary-era life are Colonial Williamsburg and the Jamestown Settlement. Richmond, among the country's oldest cities, is its capital.

Austin which is famed for its eclectic music scene, is the capital.

Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state which is a Peninsular, in between the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico. It has hundreds of miles of beaches. It is nicknamed as the “Sunshine State”. Miami is well known for its nightlife and influential arts scene, as well as its Latin flavor, especially in upscale South Beach. Orlando is famed for theme parks, like Walt Disney World.

California, stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles, is a western U.S. state. It's well famed for its dramatic terrain encompassing cliff-lined beaches, redwood forest, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the arid Mojave Desert. Sprawling Los Angeles, seat of the Hollywood entertainment industry, and hilly San Francisco, home to the Golden Gate Bridge are some cities including in it.
